it's that time again...finally

last season the closest I got to these guys on an away trip was the morning I made cinnamon rolls and delivered them at the KCU parking lot as they were boarding to leave and I had to stay behind

this season I missed their first away trip, but today, instead of waving goodbye as they pulled away, I was able to travel with them and chick-fil-a out of a box, sitting on the ground in a parking lot alongside this crew was like eating a feast

it's good to be back to taking long trips and sleeping in a hotel room, looking forward to hotel breakfast, and more fast food for lunch and dinner so I can watch them (and the women's team) play in person rather than trying to watch online

Finally soccer season feels normal.
