saying goodbye is hard

so many people I know are having to say goodbye to loved ones

some unexpectedly,

some have a "warning"

today I can't shake this thought :

I've never heard anyone who is facing death say  

"I wish I'd loved less"

if you are reading this,

you have breath,

you have life,

you have the ability to evaluate how you are investing in your relationships

and you have time to make changes if you need to

loving big

or deeply

or whatever word you want to use

will cost you something (s)

there may be sacrifices you have to make,

but one thing you will never have to pay for that choice 

is the debt of regret...
