I think this side of heaven there will always be

someone to miss

circumstances you wish were different

some times you wish you could be somewhere else.

I think this is where faith and trust are tested.

If God is who He says is,

if God is love,
if God is good,

if God is kind, 

if God is faithful

if God is all powerful,

then nothing that comes my way  

catches Him by surprise,

and no one who enters my life

or leaves my life

is a mistake.

I believe He is who He claims to be.

I am resolved to continue to walk by faith,

in obedience, trusting Him,

practicing thankfulness for what was and what is 

as I look forward to what is ahead.

“I press on toward the goal 

for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
