He ain't heavy, he's my brother...
Some days
the act of putting one foot in front of the other
takes all of the energy I have
mentally
physically
emotionally
spiritually.
Especially on those days
I am thankful for those who faithfully carry my family,
encouraging us by letting us know
they remember-
they think about us,
they love us
they are praying for us.
The road is long.
There are many winding turns.
We know where it is leading us,
and until we get there,
it is good to know we are not walking alone.
And one day, when we are stronger,
we will take our turn carrying our brothers and sisters.
And one day, when we are stronger,
we will take our turn carrying our brothers and sisters.
