"communication is the key"

Words intrigue me.

I have learned that words have power 

those spoken and those left unsaid

to shame

to wound

to crush

to kill

to destroy

to foster regret

to heal

to set free

to offer hope

to encourage

to instruct

to correct

to teach

to train

to rebuke

to reveal
to comfort

to share life

silence speaks 

I ask myself,

"What are you communicating?
Who are you listening to?"
