respite

It is 11:25 PM.
I have only cried once.
I am not sure what made today different,
but I am thankful for the emotional respite.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield;

    in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped;

my heart exults,

    and with my song I give thanks to Him."
