when life throws a curveball
you can step out of the batter's box
take the pitch
or calculate and swing with intention

today God threw three distinct curves my way
and for once I didn't back away
resulting in three different unexpected social interactions
with three very different groups of people

tonight I feel like I've won a triple header
this introvert is tired
but it's the good kind of tired
how could it not be when the day ends with stronger relationships?
