what was I thinking ?

Last night:

Think about Christmas and the tree:
Where should I put it?
Decide I can't put up the one we bought last year.

Ache. Cry. Sob.
Message a friend.
Make plans to borrow a tree.

This morning:

Time with God-armed for battle.
Feed guppies-done.
Mennonite men-making progress.

Drive to funeral home,
more tears,more kleenex,
ask for hand sanitizer.

Funeral Home bill- paid.
Pre-paid plan for me- set up.
Last of thank you notes- written.

As a mature adult,
you do what you have to do,
whether you like it or not.

Order the headstone-nah, I will wait on that.

But you don't have to do it all on the same day.

This afternoon:

Lunch at the cafe.
Focus on my blessings.
Concentrate on being thankful.

Start a list of things to praise God for.

His Spirit
His Word
His presence
His mercy
His grace
His faithfulness

Meet with remodeling supervisor.
Write second of three checks.
Cry a bit more, because Bill wrote the first one.

Prayer coverage

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things."
Philippians 4:6-8
