I did it !

this evening
as I sat on a wooden bench
at the KCU apartment playground
watching Xavier play on the big slide and swing set
I took my phone out of my pocket and began checking Facebook
and was slammed with a thought that loudly whispered through my mind
"life is what happens while you are busy on your phone"

I immediately turned my phone off
and watched Xavier climb the ladder 
to the tallest platform and begin jumping up and down, 
yelling "I did it ba-ma, I did it!"
convicted of my tendency toward addiction 
I didn't even get a picture tonight (the three above are from May)
sometimes less documentation can definitely lead to more memories
